The Robert M. Coackley American Legion Post 481
The American Legion was Chartered in 1919 by Congress as a Patriotic, wartime veterans organization and has since grown to be the nations largest wartime organization. The American Legion continues to reach out into over 14,000 communities today, which includes the Robert M. Coakley American Legion Post 481 of Madison, Wisconsin. Post 481 was chartered in April 14th, 1972 and is one of the most active American Legion Posts in Wisconsin. A non-profit organization whose mission places A high importance on preserving our American traditions and values, improving the quality of life for our Nations children, caring for veterans and their families in the Madison area communities.
Our American Legion family includes: The American Legion, Sons of American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary and its many members and volunteers.
